Greetings from Rome Strawberry Patch! Our farm is located amidst the beautiful Belgrade Lakes at the base of French Mountain in Rome, Maine. Our family has been growing strawberries for 24 years, and we are dedicated to producing the very best tasting strawberries in the world!
When you arrive, you will receive a friendly greeting and brief instructions on our flag marking system, which will guide you to the best picking of the day. Our well-kept farmstead and weed-free fields will make your strawberry picking a pure pleasure.
For your convenience, we provide 8-quart picking trays for serious berry pickers, quart baskets for picking smaller quantities, and pint-sized baskets for the kids (so they can feel good about picking their very own berries). Strawberries are weighed and sold by the pound.
We have everything you need for a fun day of picking berries in the country with your family. Cold drinking water and restroom facilities are located on the premisies. Whether you are an old friend or a first-time visitor, we are looking forward to seeing you in the patch this season!
Our "nutrient dense" strawberries are more healthful and noticeably sweeter than those grown with traditional methods. Our strawberry fields are monitored carefully to make sure our plants are getting the nutirents needed throughout the growing season.
