Hours
Our "Picking Status Update" on the right column of the home page will provide current daily information on the availability of berries at these two locations. If you prefer, you may call us at 397-4771 right before your planned visit to check on the supply of berries.
Season for Picking Strawberries
The strawberries ripen and are ready to pick during a three to four-week period starting around mid-June. Check the "Picking Status Update" on our home page as the strawberry picking season nears, or sign up for our email updates.
Season for Purchasing Blueberries
Our Washington County wild blueberries are harvested in August and ready for delivery around the third week of August. Check the "Picking Status Update" on our home page mid-summer, or sign up for our email updates. You can also download an a wild Maine blueberry order form here.
Other Considerations
Bring your whole family - children are welcome! Our parking lot has plenty of shade, so your pets will be comfortable while you are purchasing strawberries. Pets are not allowed in the field.
Directions
Directions From Waterville/Oakland Area: Go out of Oakland on Route 137 (High Street) for about 8 miles where you will see our first farm sign on the curve of the road. Go around the curve and immediately turn left on Route 225 and go 5 miles to Rome Corner (Junction of 225 & 27). Turn right and go one mile on Route 27 then turn left on the Watson Pond Road. The farm driveway is 800 feet up the road on the left. A large farm sign is at the driveway entry.
From Augusta/Sidney Area: Go north on Route 27 to Belgrade Lakes Village 15 miles north from Interstate 95. Continue north on Route 27 for another 5 miles where you will see our first farm sign. Turn left on the Watson Pond Road. The farm driveway is 800 feet up the road on the left. A large farm sign is at the driveway entry.
From Skowhegan/Norridgewock Area: Go west on Route 2 to the Junction of Route 2 and 27 in New Sharon. Turn left on Route 27 and go 5 miles south. Our farm sign is at the bottom of the hill. Turn right on the Watson Pond Road. The farm driveway is 800 feet up the road on the left. A large farm sign is at the driveway entry.
